UC-DFC Welcome Party

Welcome party!

DFC UC chapter had a welcome party at 11:45 am. We reversed a classroom for it. We invited students and had a special event for new comers. We usually do this every 1^st trimester. UC has trimester classes.

 

16 students, 3 guests, 3 staffs, 1 speaker attended. In South Korea, I liked to focus on the numbers but number is nothing. To make disciples is not to need big number. When I was a freshman, there were more than 70 members in my school. But only few graduated students has interest in DFC ministry. Later 5 years, I was the president of our group in my school. There were only few members but the same number of graduated students has concern of DFC ministry still now. We’re focusing on making disciples but not on increasing numbers. We call us as a family. Can you imagine a very very big family? In a big family, they can’t have the same concern to each other. Jesus had only 12 disciples as well. For sermons, he allowed that many people come to him to listen to. But, for making disciples, he called only 12 disciples. Small number is strategic to make disciples for Christ. This is my opinion.

Anyway we introduced about DFC and listened to invited speaker Brother Ben. He is working for a campus ministry also in Baguio city. The name of the organization is “Herald Subject through God’s Grace”. I intruded about DFC but it’s not complete because I got the charge suddenly. Yeah, we did many mistakes also but I don’t mind of it for we’re improving constantly. I trust my members God gave me.

 

We also had a game. It was really funny! If you wanted to know what it is funny, you should come here. I can’t tell you our secret. Haha. And we share some snacks with attendants. I hope to meet them who were attended today again and again.

 

An Event is an event, a party is a party. Life is not like a party. I want to use my stamina more to my disciples. I know myself who am not good at making an event. But I try my best to give them my love. My love would not be an event. My love would be a life living with you. I hope to accomplish my thought well in my real life. Let’s go for it!
